Our March speaker will be Jeff Victor. Here’s a quote from his website:

My name is Jeff Victor, although I live in Chicago without an ocean for thousands of miles.....my great passion is underwater   photography.​

I love everything about the underwater world, through my pictures I attempt to document what I see and feel on every dive. My favorite underwater subjects are sharks, although I photograph as many species as I can during my travels. ​

Scuba Certifications: Rescue Diver, Aware Shark Conservation Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Equipment Specialist, Coral Reef Conservation Diver.

I was proud to be awarded the Best Photography Booth at The Wells Street Art Festival in Chicago.

Each month, AVDD hosts general meetings on the second Monday at 7pm. Meetings typically run about an hour and include announcements of upcoming events, a presentation on an interesting dive-related topic, and a fun raffle. Check back here for more information on this month’s speaker!

The meeting will be in-person at the Palmdale Cultural Center, 38350 Sierra Highway, Palmdale, CA. It will also be hosted over Zoom. Members will receive an email with the instructions to join the Zoom meeting when the date gets closer.
