Each month, AVDD hosts general meetings on the second Monday at 7pm. Meetings typically run about an hour and include announcements of upcoming events, a presentation on an interesting dive-related topic, and a fun raffle.

This month, our speaker will be Scuba Instructor Rob Anderson. Rob is the founder of Neptune Warrior, a 501(c) 3 based in Idaho. He has been recognized by NAUI as a Top 25 Contributor in 2017 for his work with veterans dealing with PTSD and TBI and again in 2018 for expanding his work with vets and helping to build a solid dive community in Idaho. He has created a unique tribe of divers where diving, coaching, and community play an important role in healing veterans, first responders, and civilians. Rob leverages methods and techniques borrowed from yoga, mindfulness, tactical training, and diving to create a program that has made significant improvements for his divers.

Rob has been a diver since 1994 and instructor since 1998. He holds instructor certifications through NAUI, PADI, SSI, and SEI. He is also a certified life and finance coach where his focus helping his divers meet their adventure goals. 

Rob has been a featured presenter at multiple scuba industry shows, medical conferences, and association workshops. He has also been featured in NAUI Sources, Dive Wire Magazine, and other publications. It will also be hosted over Zoom. Members will receive an email with the instructions to join the Zoom meeting when the date gets closer.
