AVDD has been invited to join WAVES on their monthly fun dive to the oil rigs on September 25. Here are the details of the trip!

September 25, 2021. Boarding at 7:00 a.m. Sundiver Express Dive Boat. 

This is an Advanced Divers only trip. Buoyancy control and comfort with your dive gear are a must! Diving the Oil Rigs is a unique opportunity to dive some of California's most beautiful artificial reefs. The Eureka sits in 720 feet of water. Ellen” and “Elly sit in about 260 feet of water. The beams of the rigs provide a home to many anemones, muscles, scallops and starfish. The deep water provides the potential opportunity to encounter sea lions, seals and other pelagic life.

Each diver will need to bring an SMB with Finger Spool and a whistle.
